Dept of Finance Appoints Wired Consulting to P3M3 panel

The Department of Finance and Deregulation (Finance) has appointed Wired Consulting to a whole-of-government panel of accredited P3M3 consultancy services.

In November last year, Finance adopted P3M3 (the Portfolio, Programme and Project Management Maturity Model) as the common methodology for assessing FMA agencies' capability to commission, manage and realise benefits from ICT-enabled investments.

Members of the P3M3 Consultancy Services Panel, announced last week, will help government departments and agencies to implement P3M3. The suppliers on the panel are APMG Accredited Consulting Organisations (ACO) with one or more Registered Consultants certified to undertake P3M3 assessments.

Phil Reid, Program Director for Project and Program Management company Wired Consulting, said they were honoured to be included on the prestigious P3M3 Panel. "The establishment of the panel is an acknowledgement of what I believe to be the best program and project management system available worldwide," he said. "Wired Consulting's appointment will provide us with many more government opportunities and is a welcome endorsement of our commitment to P3M3."

P3M3 is a methodology that helps organisations to manage portfolios, programmes and projects, by limiting risks, and greatly improving the chances of successful outcomes.

The Finance Department has written to all CFOs and CIOs of FMA Act agencies to announce the new P3M3 Maturity Assessment Consultancy Services panel.
